WHAT IS A COMMUNITY SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT (CSA)?
A Community Service Announcment (CSA) is a non-commercial advertisement broadcast on radio for public interest. It is a free service provided by Sine FM for promotion and / or announcement of one off, none charged, community events (that areent being advertised by payment elsewhere) for non-proft organisations.
All events submitted must be from charitable, voluntary or not for profit organisations and be for ONE OFF events. This is limited to one 20 second announcement per event, only times schedueled by us, and no contacts for the organisers will be given out. Paid events do not qualify and ongoing services are also excluded.
All CSA enquiries must be received at least 4 weeks before the event and all events are verified. CSA’s are NOT guaranteed.
The following Community Service Announcements cannot be accepted:
Rallies / Demos Book signings Private Parties / Gigs Public Appearances
(Exceptions to these will be considered on a case by case basis)
HOW DO I SUBMIT A REQUEST FOR BROADCAST OF A COMMUNITY SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT ON SINE FM?
You can contact the Sine FM team by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org or send your information to: 53-57, Netherhall Road, Doncaster, DN1 2PG.
We recommend that organisations submit their requests at least 4 weeks in advance of the events. Events may not be announced if received less than 10 days in advance. Please note that not all community announcements are guaranteed to be scheduled.
If you choose to run your announcement in a pre-recorded form, we should have the announcement ready for broadcast at least 14 days prior to the event. This must meet Sine FM / Ofcom guidelines and must be approved by the station manager.
